Terra Nova, a play by Ted Talley

1911: British explorer Robert Falcon Scott sets off to be the first man to the South Pole. Meanwhile Norwegian Roald Amundsen decides he will head South as well. The race to the Pole is the setting for this highly theatrical, riveting play drawn from Scott’s actual journals. It’s a haunting story of honor, duty, compassion, love and courage in the midst of a brutally unforgiving environment.
