The Laguna Foundation is hosting a fun workshop on traditional cheese basket weaving, and would like to invite you to join! The workshop will feature a twined-weave basket-making that was traditionally done by shepherds. We will also demonstrate how to make a ricotta salata cheese, and quick weavers may be able to use their own basket to make cheese that afternoon! It will be led by Charles Kennard, a student and teacher of California Indian basketry.
