Collectors of fine art will appreciate Plein Air’s week dedicated to painting. During the week of September 14 – 18, 37 renowned artists will set out to paint in and around Sonoma Valley. Inspired by impressionist painters, each artist will create 8 – 10 pieces that will then be judged and auctioned off at the Sonoma Plein Air Gala on September 18. Guests of the gala will be able to mingle with the artists and bid on their work in a silent auction over cocktails, dinner, and dessert at the Le Bistro Plein Air. Those who bid can feel good knowing that 40% of profits will go to the Plein Air Foundation—a foundation dedicated to bringing the arts to students.
