Situated in the picturesque westside hills of Carneros, 40 minutes north of San Francisco, the Ferrer family of the Freixenet wine house in Spain discovered this site provided the perfect terroir for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay for brilliant sparkling and varietal wines, and created the first sparkling wine house in Carneros. Celebrate over 25 years of award-winning méthode champenoise sparkling wines and gracious Catalan hospitality when you visit the Gloria Ferrer Estate Caves & Vineyards.Be Bubbly! Our guided tours offer you the opportunity to learn about our Sparkling winemaking. During the tour, you'll hear about the Ferrer's rich winemaking history and taste select sparkling and estate varietal wines.
Our visitor center offers a panoramic Vista Terrace overlooking our estate vineyards where we offer table side service for you as you sip wines from the most awarded winery in California, with over 400 Gold Medals and 30+ ratings of 90 points or more in the last five years.
