MacPhail Family Wines

The MacPhail Tasting Lounge at The Barlow is one of the most unique wine experiences in Wine Country. The Barlow is one of the most exciting destinations in Sonoma County. Enjoy our Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in a friendly, fascinating environment where wine education and warm hospitality is the focus.

We are open every day from 11am to 6pm for tasting (excluding major holidays). On Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays we are open until 8pm (seasonally).

TASTING OPTIONS:

Introduction to MacPhail Tasting

A perfect introduction to our wine portfolio featuring a tasting flight of four of our current release wines. Our tasting fee is $20 per person, with one fee waived for every three bottles purchased.

Single Vineyard Tasting

This seated tasting includes up to six wines from different appellations in an educational tasting highlighting attributes of each unique growing area. Our fee is $30 per person, with one fee waived for every three bottles purchased.

Terroir Tasting

One of our most unique tastings is a tasting of 4 wines from the soils represented in our Soil Lounge. This informative tasting will highlight three of the most important components in winemaking—soil, clonal selection, and vintage (the mother nature part). $30 per person refunded with purchase of three or more bottles. Reservations requested but not required.

Library & Reserve Tasting

This special tasting includes a flight of older vintage library, vertical, or reserve wines from the MacPhail vaults. Our fee is $50 per person, with one fee waived forevery $100 in wine purchased. Reservations requested. Book at macphailwine.com or call us at (707) 824-8400.

Artisan Experiences & Wines By The Glass

We select a new, local cheesemaker each month and work with them to create a nice pairing of their cheeses with our wine. Enjoy a cheese plate with a glass or bottle of our wines during your visit.
