California Summer Music’s free masterclass series at Sonoma State’s Green Music Center features three performances by our talented young performers. Each performance is followed by a class where the master will show both audience and performer methods to use to improve the performance.
Wendy Sharp, violin: Wendy Sharp performs frequently as a recitalist and a chamber musician. In demand as a teacher and chamber music coach, she is on the Violin faculty of the Yale School of Music where she also serves as Director of Chamber Music.
A native of the San Francisco Bay area, she attended Yale University, graduating summa cum laude with Distinction in Music and received the Master of Music degree from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Ms. Sharp has taught at California Summer Music for all of its 16 years.
