The Brain Event is a festival that celebrates people with mental and physical disabilities and recognizes their creativity. This event will feature art-rockers Baby Seal Club, winners of Best Rock Band 2012 North Bay Music Awards, and opening music provided by Aristicatz from Becoming Independent.

Enjoy an art workshop with Dyana Foldvary and other festivities and featured entertainment. In addition, there will be sale of artwork created by artists with disabilities working with Becoming Independent, NAMI, and Wellness and Advocacy Center. This event is sponsored in part by the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) and Sonoma County Department of Health Services.
