Come down to the Turning Basin in Petaluma, as the wind picks up, and learn (or remember) how to sail! These Monday-Thursday half-day camps are open to individuals ages 12-18 or adults. This is for people with little or no sailing experience or as a refresher course. These camps will teach students how to cover basic boating safety, knots, rigging, and sailing theory. The class will use an 8′ El Toro dinghies to teach boat handling, docking, sail trim, and capsize recovery. Bring a water bottle, hat, towel and extra clothes. Snacks will be provided.
