George Cables Trio serves as an inspiring festival closer, as Cables, the veteran whose resume  includes work with Sonny Rollins, Joe Henderson and countless greats, continues his impressive  life as a bandleader, with the sturdy kinship of bassist Essiet Essiet and drummer Victor Lewis fortifying one of jazz’ finest piano trios. As an added treat, bold, well-traveled saxophonist Craig Handy joins the ranks for this special show.
